Remember our Veterans... We thank you

Today is a very important day for all Americans, as it's the day that we take the time to thank our soldiers that have fought for what we have today.

Please take a moment of silence to honor your veterans, whether American or not, they all fight for the same thing.

Some Senior Kittizens are in need of your help

As you all know, Melvin has quite a few friends on Facebook. One of which is PurrEver Ranch Sanctuary. Recently they posted an update stating that they are in desperate need of help if they are to keep up with the care for the many "unadoptable" cats that they have in their custody.

I'm asking all of you to take a look at this website and, if you can spare anything, make a donation or Sponsor a Kittizen.

Rita Wood, the founder and head caretaker is one of the most caring and amazing women that I have ever witnessed. She lives for the broken, abused, and disposed day in and day out. She took in cats like Ace, who was kept in a storage unit and forced to breed his entire life. Now look at him:

Almost all of the cats that live at the PurrEver Ranch Sanctuary are deemed unadoptable and live with shadows of their terrible pasts. Many were abused or abandoned and cannot live their lives in a normal family environment. Most of the Kittizens of PurrEver Ranch are past their prime age and PurrEver Ranch is a safe and wonderful place for them to live out their time remaining rather than being put to sleep for being "too old".

I am working on a fund-raising event right here on Melvin's blog in the near future to help out in this great time of need, so make sure to check back!

Please pass the word on about PurrEver Ranch Sanctuary and if you have a Facebook, add them to keep up to date with all that is going on with the Senior Kittizens.
